Dunwich Heath & Beach
Situated on the Suffolk coast, Dunwich Heath offers a peaceful and relaxing environment where you can connect with nature. The area is home to a number of rare and vulnerable species.
Dogs are very welcome to join you at Dunwich Heath. Please be aware that the site is an important nature reserve and is home to many rare heathland birds and animals. If you’re bringing your dog to Dunwich Heath, please check online for more information regarding the areas and times when dogs are required to be on a lead in order to protect local wildlife.
Dogs are welcome inside the tearoom at the designated pawprint labelled tables. Water bowls and taps are provided around the buildings for your dog to get a drink. Spare leads, treats and poo bags are available from the visitor information centre if required and a dog first aid kit is also available on site in the case of an emergency.
