Roanhead Beach
A beautiful dog friendly beach!
Operated by national trust dogs are welcome all year and they advise on leads. The beach is a sandy beach with some grass and spans a large distance.
Parking in site and they do charge, but it all goes to maintaining the beach I believe. Small shop on site for essentials and some toilets near by too.

Really lovely dog friendly beach, but you do have to pay to park here - National Trust - and the car park is quite small. Should you visit and it be too busy, the beaches above and below this on the same coastline are almost as lovely - and free - as are several on the other side of the peninsula (and usually quieter too) but they don't have any facilities at all.
We loved this beach on holiday!
Being part of a national trust was great as there was a small shop and some toilets on site.
This beach was quite secluded and not overly busy which is great when you want to relax! Its a sandy beach which is always great with a few rock pools and sand dunes to explore! its very easy to walk for miles exploring this lovely area!
