Brock Bottoms Picnic Site

Brock Bottom is one of our favourite walks to do with our Cocker Spaniel Nelly! It is a woodland walk running along side a stream; which if your dog is anything like Nel, they will spend more time in the stream than on the path! In the nicer weather, the water is that clean and nice that most people go paddling with their dogs aswell! It is also a picnic site so it's a great idea to take a picnic like we usually do and sit on the picnic benches! Something we are definitely looking forward to doing in the Summer again! It's a hidden gem of a walk.

“Oh we love a trip here early in a morning when it’s nice a quiet (it can get quite busy) Lots of spots for a paddle and forest to run in. It can get muddy but as long as you’re prepared it’s fine. Bridges and walk ways are well cared for. A lovely loop walk takes you through farmland so there is a need for a lead and the last time we were there the cows did want to say hello. The roads can be tricky is you’re not used to them so just take it slow. ”
