“We recently visited Soft Paws Play with our two dogs, and it was such a lovely experience. When we first realised that the half-hour booking actually gives you 20 minutes of play time, we wondered whether that would be long enough. But honestly, our two were absolutely exhausted by the end of their session! There’s so much opportunity for physical play that 20 minutes was plenty for them. I think it could feel a little short for a more tentative or less confident dog who might need a bit of time to settle in before getting involved, but for dogs who are ready to get stuck in, it worked really well. There’s plenty of space, which was particularly good for us with two dogs, although you can bring more. You can also book longer sessions if you want more time. We really liked the thoughtful little extras too. There’s a coffee machine, drinks for the dogs, treats and poo bags provided, so everything you need is there. One of my favourite touches was the puppuccino arriving about five minutes before the end of our session. It was a lovely way of signalling that playtime was nearly over, and it meant we could calmly get the dogs off the soft play and be ready to leave before the next booking. The bookings are organised so that dogs don’t cross over between sessions, which is particularly reassuring if you have a reactive or nervous dog. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole setup felt spacious and well organised. Would we go again? Absolutely. Our dogs had a brilliant time and judging by how tired they were afterwards, they certainly got their money’s worth! ”
