Dog Owners Guide
“We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Indigo Key West. You can tell the hotel is virtually brand new because everything was squeaky clean, and the aesthetic was so on point. I loved the interiors – everything felt warm, stylish and considered. Despite being part of IHG, it didn't have a corporate feel at all and actually felt really unique.
The reception team were lovely... Quite casual, but super friendly and they absolutely loved our dog, Archie. On arrival, we were given a miniature gin and vodka, Fever-Tree tonic, a bar of chocolate and a handwritten card, which I always appreciate. We were told there should also be some bits in the room for Archie, which weren't there initially, but as soon as we mentioned it they quickly sorted it. By the time we got back from dinner, he had a dog bed and two bowls waiting for him.
Our room was massive, the bed was super comfy and the soundproofing was really good. We also had a smart TV, which is something I always rate highly in a hotel!
Dogs are welcome in the restaurant, although there is a set area where you can sit and they can't be too close to the open kitchen. The restaurant team perhaps weren't quite as enthusiastic about Archie as reception, but they still brought him a water bowl and were happy for him to sit on the seat as long as I put my jacket down first. Breakfast was lovely too. There's a buffet for the cold options and then you can order hot dishes freshly cooked. You can also order proper coffees with breakfast (not just filer coffee) which isn't always the case in hotels but is something I really appreciate.
Location-wise, Holland Park is nearby, which is great when you've got a dog with you. There isn't loads immediately around the hotel, but you're only a few minutes' walk from the Tube, so it's really easy to get into central London and explore from there. They're also opening a spa towards the end of 2026, and I think once that's added, this is going to be a really special hotel.
Overall, we had such a lovely stay. Beautiful interiors, a huge and incredibly comfortable room, genuinely friendly staff and Archie was made to feel very welcome. I'd definitely stay again, with or without a dog.”
