Lovely clean beach with walks along the beach itself or along a path. Beautiful views and a few sculptures to be seen along the way.

I love East Haven Beach.

I love splashing in the waves and looking for drift wood sticks on the beach.

There is a toy box in the carpark where you can borrow a ball for playing with at the beach but you have to put it back and you can also find spare poo bags in case you run out. Its one of our favourite beaches and i get very excited when we drive under the rail bridge to the carpark and I realise where I am.

Heres what Mooma has to say about it-

The carpark has plenty spaces, there are picnic benches to sit at and bins dotted about there and along the walk. The beach itself has a lovely walk in both directions (watch the tide!) and you can also walk along the path network that runs along side the railway line. The path is flat so suitable for bikes and prams and its well fenced in so safe to be off lead.

There is litter picking equipment available to borrow from the hut in the carpark but we've always found the beach spotless anyway.

There are some interesting sculptures to look at and get your photo taken with including one in tribute to the Airdale Terriers who were trained on that beach during WW1 to help in the war with moving casualties and sending messages.

Its just a fab little beach and we are lucky to have it to close.
