Garry Beach - Traigh Ghearadha. Isle of Lewis

One of our favourite beaches when we visited the Isle of Lewis was Garry Beach (Traigh Ghearadha) on the north-east coast.  Our Dog Furiendly Explorer managed to visit at low tide and loved racing across the golden sands as well as exploring the sea stacks which are right on the beach.  For the more adventurous, this is the start of the Tolsta Heritage Trail, a ten mile coastal trail to Ness.
