Meal Beach

The southward facing Sands of Meal are located on the island of West Burra which is connected to Mainland by bridge.

Meal is one of the most popular beaches in Shetland, and for good reason. Beautiful white sand gently slope into the clear turquoise water. The beach is also quite sheltered, so combined with some facilities it is an ideal spot for families.
