Prestwick Beach
Prestwick is a long, mostly sandy beach, with some pebbles, offering excellent views out over the Firth of Clyde across to the mountainous Isle of Arran. Ice cream kiosk nearby, grassy patches to explore and play parks for the little ones!

We had such a lovely day at Prestwick beach... It was really busy as it was so warm but we still found it very easy to park for free just a few minutes walk from the beach. The cafe was great too and we were able to get some ice cream and coffees for our walk. Our dog loved running round on the beach plus plenty of the restaurants on the Main Street had bowls of water outside and came out to my give him a fuss! Super dog friendly place to walk!
Mancinnis is my mums new favourite place to go for icecream, they have loads of flavours which are all lovely - although Bella always has vanilla. Beautiful views, great to run around but easily effected by the tide. Also a great place to watch the red arrows when they come around each year!
