Hickety Pickety Tea Room

We have visited Hickety Pickety several times both with and without a dog. We have always found it to be dog friendly, with a bowl of water provided straight away and staff talking to the dogs. Dogs are allowed downstairs only, however, so it is a good idea to book in advance, especially with fewer tables to allow for social distancing.

Food is lovely, as is the coffee and a large selection of cakes.

The tearoom is beautiful decorated with a rustic homely feel. There is a good selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, with something to suit everyone. We particularly enjoyed their coffee. The food was good and we opted for some home baking which was very tasty too.

Having visited many cafes, we would consider this place dog tolerant not dog friendly.
