The Glynne Arms Hawarden

The Glynne Arms is a pub for everyone (and their dogs) in the centre of the storied village of Hawarden. Our aim is to offer great food, drink and service in a beautifully designed environment. Everyone is welcome here! We are not part of a chain; we’re just a group of passionate people making sure that things are run really well. We are sister to the award-winning Hawarden Estate Farm Shop -also dog-friendly- The Good Life Experience -Britain's most dog-friendly festival- and online retailer Pedlars. We love Hawarden. It’s good here! Really good, in fact. Hawarden is alive with history. But today it is as vibrant as ever with many independent businesses, the world-renowned centre of liberal thought Gladstone’s Library, two annual festivals of culture and some of the Flintshire’s most beautiful wood and parkland. There are lots of places to walk your dog in the surrounding parkland and woodland. Some routes are for permit-holders only, so be sure to check online before you head out. We love dogs. They’re always welcome at The Glynne Arms. Like their human companions, we expect them to behave reasonably well, but you know that. Enjoy a drink or something to eat in our sheltered courtyard or our bar areas with your dogs. We've got water and treats for them, too.
