The Golden Lion - Caldicot
Nice pub with a more fancy atmosphere than the average local so I felt a little underdressed in my walking gear. Beautiful inside but it was very crowded and it was hard to find a seat.
No water bowls or treats for dogs but I suspect if we hadn't gone on a busy Saturday evening then we may have had a different experience. I'd be open to visitinv during the afternoon but would avoid on an evening if I was with the pooch.
Free car parking can be found across the road (not part of the pub).
