“I have stayed at Brynawel Farm many times over the past 8–9 years, first with my dog Molly and now with Ruby, and I can honestly say this is one of the most genuinely dog-friendly places I have ever visited. Many places describe themselves as "dog friendly" when in reality they are simply dog tolerant, but Brynawel Farm truly welcomes dogs as valued guests. Dogs are not restricted to the bedroom and are welcome downstairs while owners enjoy breakfast. There is a comfortable dog-friendly sofa where they can relax, or they can stretch out in front of the fire and make themselves at home. Thoughtful touches, such as rugs to place on the bed if you've forgotten your own, show that the owners really understand travelling with dogs. The resident Border Terrier, Doris, is a wonderful hostess and always gives visiting dogs a warm welcome. Ruby absolutely loves staying here and she and Doris spend ages racing around the large, secure garden together. Watching them play is always one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfasts are excellent and are always something to look forward to. The food is freshly prepared, generous, and of a high standard, providing the perfect start to the day before exploring the local area. The accommodation is lovely, the hospitality is exceptional, and the warm welcome extends equally to both owners and their dogs. If you are looking for somewhere that is truly dog friendly rather than merely dog tolerant, I would highly recommend Brynawel Farm. We have returned time and time again over the years, which is probably the best recommendation I can give.”
