Eltham Park South Playground
Eltham Park South (together with Eltham Park North) is one of Greenwich's Green Flag Award-winning sites.
The Green Chain Walk runs through this large, grassy area, good for informal ball games with splendid tree-lined avenues, a children's playground and a picnic area. There is a café on site with toilet facilities.
There is an outdoor gym installed as part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich's Olympic legacy as well as table tennis tables, football, cricket, grass tennis courts (summer only) and floodlit hard-surface tennis courts for hire.

There is a free carpark here, as well as a small cafe hatch with some outside seating as well as a children's play park. There is a large green area which also is used for some sports fields, as well as tennis and astro courts. The main footpath is a circular path that takes you round the outer edge of the park. You can then cross the footbridge over the A2 where it joins up with the green chain walk that you follow to Eltham Park North to the left or walk towards Falconwood towards the right.
