Barrasie Beach
Barassie is a long, wide and mostly flat, sandy beach, although its expanse depends largely on the tide. Dogs are welcome all year round. You may find horses walking on the beach!

We've walked along from Barrasie Beach to Irvine Beach as theres an invisible line between the 2, its probably the cleanest of the beaches as the most I've found along the sand is shells and jelly fish. Its usually pretty quiet, even on really sunny days so great for letting dogs off lead if they're trained to come back (or to practise that!) as there's loads of space. You'll see horses sometimes but they seem used to dogs so if you use your manners and keep a respectable distance they will too. Stunning views and always great for dogs who love swimming!
