Traeth Abermenai Beach (Traeth Melynog)

The name Traeth Abermenai translates to the beach at the mouth of the Menai Strait. Whilst not strictly a river this area does have very much the appearance of a river mouth with large areas of wet sand at low tide and salt marshes behind.
